My favorite part of a house

One of my dreams is to have a very large, very clean and very organized kitchen. Since I was child, I never experienced having a lovely kitchen. Well, most houses here in the Philippines have those that we call dirty kitchen and that was what we had in our house. I never learned to cook before because I was a bit choosy. I wanted a kitchen like those that we see in cooking shows. I actually still want that now. Haha!

About a year ago, my husband and I went house-hunting near my sister’s home in Quezon City. We visited this Bungalow type house and I really liked the place. Plus, it has a very gorgeous kitchen. The house was also fully finished already and you just need to bring in your things and you’re done! The kitchen already has tiled counters, very chic cupboards and cabinets and a perfect place for the stove. I could just imagine bringing in our own stuff there and having kitchen gifts delivered right there.

Well, we were not able to get that house because it’s priced way out of our budget plus I was pregnant with Kharl then and we had to make sure we get plenty of savings for the baby. But we’ll be pursuing finding a home soon. And when we do, I’ll make sure to find a nice kitchen with it. Haha!!

Birthday Gift for my Father

I’m thinking of buying an LCD TV for my father on his birthday. It’s on August so I still have time to save money for that. It was actually a long overdued plan that I have. I originally thought of giving it as a christmas gift last year. But there were news that robbery was becoming a little rampant on the neighborhood where my father is staying. I don’t want to invite robbers in the house by brining in something that might trigger their bad deeds. So I got my father something else for Christmas.

Last March, we got our little company bonus and I again considered the idea. But another thing came up and the idea was shelved aside again. I had a talk with one of my sisters and she had an idea. We could go on with our plan and buy that LCD tv for our father. We’ll include a wall mount with it so that the TV will just be stuck on the wall and there will be no or less fear of someone taking that away. She has a point actually and so now, I’m considering the idea again. Well, as I’ve said, I’ve got several months before papa’s birthday so plenty of time to think and save.

Send flowers to your loved ones

I know this post might be just a little late. But, as we always say, better late than never. Mother’s day has just passed us last weekend. Were you able to send flowers to your moms or aunts or anyone you know celebrating mother’s day? If not, why don’t you order flowers online and have it specially delivered to them. You don’t get the hassle of going to flower shops plus you can give them to anyone anywhere.

There are lots of flower shops online and it is very easy to order. You get to pick your choice of flowers, arrangements and other stuff that comes with it. Then you just give the address where you want it to be delivered. Very easy! Plus, when you search online, you’re going to see some sites that offers vouchers or discounts, just like those coupons on proflowers that I saw while searching the net.

Mother’s day might already be finished but, it doesn’t need to be a holiday to remember someone and send flowers right?

Aluminum wallet for your cards

A couple of weeks ago, I got my package from CashCashPinoy where I bought a voucher for a Card Guard. It was a hard-shelled card holder/wallet and it was really cute. The wallet is said to be water, stain and impact resistant. But I haven’t dared soak my wallet with my cards on it. Haha!! It is about 2 1/2″ x 1/4″, just small enough to hold around 12 cards. Plus, it has several colors to choose from. I had mine red and I’m thinking of getting another one. :)

This aluminum wallet is a perfect way to organize your cards but I still would like to use the old fashioned leather wallet that I’m used to using. But since I have lots of cards (health cards, ATM, ID’s, credit card, etc), I’m glad to have the card guard. It keeps me organized and still looks chic. :)

Getting pregnant is a blessing for any woman. It is an experience that would make any woman feel complete. But along with the excitement of having a baby comes the awkward and sometimes unwanted feeling of being ugly, fat, bloated, and just plain big. It is true that with pregnancy, a woman really gains weight, loses their sexy body and looks like the world is on her shoulders (or tummy in that matter). Well, ladies should not feel this way. The nine months that a woman has her baby developing in her tummy should be spent well and happy.

Here are top 3 ideas that I came up with to keep pregnant women still feel beautiful and attractive for the whole 9 months of carrying the baby.

Image from Google

1. Don’t compare yourself to your old not-pregnant state or to anyone that is not pregnant.
Your old look before you got pregnant may be far too different especially when you’re getting nearer to your due date. This is because as you get nearer the 9months due, you’ll get bigger, you’re tummy gets bigger, and you’ll tire easily. That is just normal of course. so to prevent from getting frustrated over these, do yourself a favor and don’t ever, ever compare.

2. Use the best maternity clothes out there.
Women tends to feel worse when they can’t find anything pleasant to wear. Since you won’t be able to fit in your old fashionable clothes, why not try to invest on good maternity clothes. These clothes are made to fit pregnant women so with the right outfit, any pregnant woman will feel sexy and beautiful if wearing good fitted clothes.

3. Splurge on yourself with spas, facials, massages and other pampering treatments.
Who says pregnant women cannot do any of this? Undergoing the rough months of pregnancy gives us full rights to pamper ourselves. But of course, we don’t want to risk anything that could be bad for the baby and for us. So be sure to have your doctor’s approval if you’re going to have any of these treatments.

Coin Collection as a Hobby

Have you ever tried to collect coins from different places? I like seeing coins of different looks and designs and sometimes, I wonder how it feels like to wander in different places and then collect coins as souvenirs. I would just love to buy silver coins or gold coins and have it arranged in a plaque or something.

Coin collecting can be expensive especially if you’re going to purchase coins that circulated for just a brief amount of time. However, this can also be an affordable hobby if the coin collector will try to trade coins with other collectors instead of buying them.

Some collectors started this hobby because of the value of the coins. They make it as sort of investment. Values of coins tend to go higher as time passes. Some collectors collect coins for art purposes. They study the designs and symbols that usually can be seen in coins. Others collect just for personal interest or for plain fun.
