Aluminum wallet for your cards

A couple of weeks ago, I got my package from CashCashPinoy where I bought a voucher for a Card Guard. It was a hard-shelled card holder/wallet and it was really cute. The wallet is said to be water, stain and impact resistant. But I haven’t dared soak my wallet with my cards on it. Haha!! It is about 2 1/2″ x 1/4″, just small enough to hold around 12 cards. Plus, it has several colors to choose from. I had mine red and I’m thinking of getting another one. :)

This aluminum wallet is a perfect way to organize your cards but I still would like to use the old fashioned leather wallet that I’m used to using. But since I have lots of cards (health cards, ATM, ID’s, credit card, etc), I’m glad to have the card guard. It keeps me organized and still looks chic. :)

Coin Collection as a Hobby

Have you ever tried to collect coins from different places? I like seeing coins of different looks and designs and sometimes, I wonder how it feels like to wander in different places and then collect coins as souvenirs. I would just love to buy silver coins or gold coins and have it arranged in a plaque or something.

Coin collecting can be expensive especially if you’re going to purchase coins that circulated for just a brief amount of time. However, this can also be an affordable hobby if the coin collector will try to trade coins with other collectors instead of buying them.

Some collectors started this hobby because of the value of the coins. They make it as sort of investment. Values of coins tend to go higher as time passes. Some collectors collect coins for art purposes. They study the designs and symbols that usually can be seen in coins. Others collect just for personal interest or for plain fun.

It’s Summer Time!

It’s almost summer time once again! Or should I say it’s already the summer season!! We’re already feeling the heat of the summer as early as february and I’m guessing it’s going to get hotter still. A lot of people already have plans for the summer. How about you?

If you ask me, I’m not that eager to get into my swimming outfit and bask in the sun. My skin is the kind that easily tans and burns under the heat of the sun and I’m not wishing to be darker as it is. I’m not really eyeing to have really light skin but I’m happy with just being tan. Getting darker than that I’ll be running to the stores to get all those whitening products. That is why I can’t understand how others want to get tan when someone like me, wants to run on the other direction. Some even have all those tanning supply so that even without the sun, they will have the dark skin that they want.

Another reason why I don’t want summer to come just yet is because I haven’t reached my ideal weight yet. And what’s worse is, I’m 6kgs away from my goal. And April is just around the corner. Argh! Good thing I was able to finally buy a running shoes. I’m going to start going to the gym again and hopefully, lose at least half of the remaining weight by mid of April.

Don’t get me wrong. I love summer! I love swimming! I love the beach! I just don’t like the effect of the sun on me after. Haha!!

Miniature or Model Cars

I was in a toy store the other day and found an area where one side of the wall was full of miniature or model cars. There were some very good looking and very real looking cars that costs huge and then there some not so good looking but much affordable. I remembered then that when I was still pregnant, we bought a set of Shell-Ferrari toy cars for our baby. 5 of those are still intact but 1 was already given to Kharl and I don’t know where it is already. Haha!

Before, I wanted to collect toy cars and not just those small matchbox that costs 100pesos a piece. I want those real looking toy cars wherein if you look closely, you’ll see that it represents the real one. Real looking interior, opening doors and hoods, actual paint color of the manufacturer and a lot more. But of course, collecting those are costly so it’s a no-no for me.

Toy cars or miniature cars come on different sizes, scales, quality and material. There’s also a lot of brands or companies that manufactures model cars. They partner with car companies and car distributors uses these models to promote their products. In the early 1930′s, model cars made of cast plaster or iron were introduced to the public. Later on, they used variuous alloys such as zinc, steel, or tin to created these miniature cars.

Diecast metal cars and plastics became famous going to the period 1970′s. As years passed, companies produced more and more types of model cars. Some famous companies like Matchbox became a hit on several countries.

Revell Maxwell "Action Pull Toy"

Soon, model kits were introduced. These kits include parts of the vehicle to be constructed. Some very good kits have parts of the vehicles that looks so real that you’ll be amazed it can be that small. Revell was the one who pioneered the plastic model car kits. Revell model cars were a big hit and soon, other huge companies took the queue and produced similar products.

I wonder when will I be able to try making my very own car out of a model car kit. :)

Ramgen – Janelle Video Part 2 leaked

Another video of Ramgen and Janelle leaked! Sad to say, but yes, it’s true. Another one of the less than 10 videos that Janelle admitted they have created over the past five years, has been leaked to the internet.

The said video is said to be more intimate and shows more of Janelle than Ramgen. People have started looking for the video on the internet since it was posted last night. Bong Revilla is still trying to find the uploader of the first video of his brother, and now, the second one has surfaced. I just wonder how many more videos will be leaked before the authorities find the culprit.

People can be so cruel. Why can’t they just give Janelle a chance to redeem herself from the first video. I mean, in all sense, they weren’t doing anything illegal or anything like that. The only thing they did wrong was to keep a video like that. Or even make one that is. But given that it’s finished, the guy has been murdered, the girl lost his love one and also suffered from being shot in the face, let’s just give them peace of mind. If you get ahold of the video, think first before watching it. Just my two cents!
