Laxare Day Spa experience

Hubby and I decided to have a spa massage last saturday. Since we’re schedule to go to SM North to get Kharl’s photo prints from his photoshoot, I searched for a spa that is located there. I saw Relaksasi and so we planned to go there. It was not until we got there that I learned that Relaksasi doesn’t have a branch there anymore. Too bad!

So we had to pick one of the few ones there that offers massages. That is when we saw Laxare Day Spa. Their lobby looks nice and the ambience is relaxing. They have several packages like massage with pedicure or foot spa or whatever. But since our only goal is to have a massage, we asked what types of massages they have. They offer several like Thai massage, Shiatsu, their famous Indonesian massage and the Traditional hilot massage. All massages are for 60 minutes except the traditional hilot which is done for 90 minutes. The massages differ on what the goal of the massage is like if you want to concentrate on relieving sore muscles from stress or maybe revitalize aching parts of your body.

We chose the traditional hilot since hubby wants a longer massage time. It costs Php 750 by the way while the other were mostly Php 490. We were given a couples room that shares a shower room. The room is not that classy but it is clean and comfortable which is fine with me (though I can’t help comparing it with Relaksis which has a nicer room and ambience.

The lady that did my massage was good and the massage itself was nice. I told her my cesarean cut is just about a year ago so she was really careful around my stomach and back. Plus, I like it that the massage was not too hard but not too soft either. It was just right for me. We were given iced tea after.

After an hour and a half, the massage was finished and hubby and I were both satisfied. Though i think the Php 750 is pricey for that massage and we did not have a steam bath or any other spa treatment (unlike in Relaksasi or at Wensha).

All in all, I can rate our experience as 8 with 10 as the highest. Not bad!! I was not able to take pictures that time since my cellphone was running out of battery. Maybe next time. :)

Laxare Day Spa is located at 3rd Floor SM North EDSA at the main building.

Online loans

Have you tried applying for a loan to pay your bills before? Sometimes, there are circumstances wherein we encounter problems and mess up our bills. This causes us to be filled with over-due bills. But there are companies out there who offer loans. And even better, there are now online lenders that helps people solve their urgent cash problems.

One of this is Wonga. Wonga, which is a slang term for cash or money, is a London based credit business that started in 2007. It is becoming a hit in the UK because of it’s ability to give short time solution to people’s short term cash problems.

Wonga’s short term loans are a big help to customers because the process of applying is very easy and very fast. Once approved, the company deposits the money straight to the bank account provided. What’s good with Wonga is there’s no hassle on doing paperworks or meetings with the bank. The service they give is entirely online and real-time.

But of course, before trying on any online lenders like these, we should make sure they’re legitimate and that no problems would arise at any time. I haven’t tried applying for a loan online so I cannot give a first-hand experience with these. But there are sites that offer a Wonga review to know more about this business and how legitimate they are. You should be 100% sure they’re trustworthy before making any transactions with them.
