It’s time for WBFC’s caravan and this time, we’re supposed to introduce ourselves.
The woman behind “Whims and Views” is me Edsie, a newbie in the blogging world (I started blogging just last november) and in mothehood as well. I started blogging out of boredom and while waiting for the day of my delivery (I also gave birth last november). Since then, I got hooked here especially when I became part of the Pinay Mommies Community.
I have a full time job in an IT/Outsourcing company as a Senior Software Engineer and I’ve been working there for five years now. I so love my work especially because that is where I met my husband. He was my officemate back then. Our love story is what you can call a whirlwind romance. Jay and I were not that close before though we sometimes hang out together with other friends. It was in September 2009, on the day when typhoon Ondoy hit us, that changed everything. The night Ondoy started, we were celebrating his birthday at a bar in Ortigas. Because of the typhoon, we decided to stay at his place after and just go home in the morning. But the next morning, the typhoon was already in full force, and so, for 2 days, we were trapped at his place and can’t go home. Our stay there brought us closer. The week following that incident, we were always chatting while at the office and I would always hitch a ride home with him (his place is a little near mine). Just after a week, we were already MU’s (mutual understanding) and not long after, we were already “In a Relationship”. Haha!!
And then after 4 months, I got pregnant with our little Kharl. And after 8 months in the relationship, we got married and now, living happily together and enjoying our little one.
To say something about my “Kabataan Days” or my youth, I was a Taekwondo player before and a member of the varsity team in our school. I love strolling in the mall and I love shopping (even window shopping). Writing is slowly being my passion and because of this, that I’m trying to juggle it between my full time job and my hubby and baby (which is really hard!).
